①interestsb.意为使某人有兴趣,引起某人注意。如:

地理引不起他的兴趣。
②interestsb.in(doing)sth.意为使某人在方面有兴趣。如:

他想说服我买这所房屋。
2.interest作名词。
①意为兴趣时,常作不可数名词。容易见到短语show/haveinterestin(doing)sth.,意为对表现出/感兴趣。如:
Sheshowedgreatinterestinthemeeting.
她对这次会议表现出很大的兴趣。
②意为业余喜好或有兴趣的事时,常作可数名词。如:
